No. 11 Ohio State is entering this matchup on the back of a tough upset loss to USC, which dropped the team nine spots in the AP Poll. The Buckeyes have struggled since losing quarterback Julian Sayin to injury in Week 7, with true freshman Luke Fahey unable to lead the squad to victory in his absence.
Oregon has also been inconsistent in recent weeks, first falling to UCLA and then dropping an upset loss to Illinois. The Ducks recovered with a 34-26 win over Northwestern last weekend, though the damage was already done, as the team has fallen out of the Top 25 completely.
