Anthony Edwards is a renowned American professional basketball player. He was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves as the No. 1 overall pick during the 2020 NBA draft. 2020 was one of the most happening years for Anthony Edwards. It was in this year that he got selected in the NBA draft as the No. 1 overall pick. Eventually, he was also named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team. In the same year, Anthony and his girlfriend, Shannon, went public with their relationship. Taking to Instagram, Shannon posted a photo of her and Edwards hugging each other. She captioned the post, “Together forever, any problem you got I’ve got it.”

For those unaware, Shannon used to have quite a following on Instagram, with around 120,000 followers, according to People. As an influencer, she mostly posts content about what she has been up to. Sometimes she also shares pictures of herself sporting different outfits as she sits courtside while showering for her boyfriend, Anthony Edwards, during his Timberwolves games in Minnesota. 

For instance, after Anthony finished with his final game of the 2023 season, Shannon posted a series of photos featuring herself along with her son, Krue, sitting courtside. She even referenced the Timberwolves’ then-upcoming NBA playoff tournament game, which was about to be against the Los Angeles Lakers. In one of the snaps, Shannon could be seen wearing a navy-and-white jacket. However, the jacket had a special touch, with “A. Edwards,” “Wolves,” and Minnesota Basketball” written on the back. Shannon captioned the post, “Some [heroes] don’t wear capes, season 3! LA next.”

Die-hard fans of Anthony Edwards might be aware that the Timberwolves star often goes viral on social media, be it for his high-flying dunks or his clutch shooting. Being one of his biggest supporters, Shannon often expresses her amazement both in person and on social media. Two years ago, in January 2024, Anthony managed to pull off an alley-oop pass off the backboard to himself. Then he went on to catch it mid-air for a two-handed slam dunk. This became one of Anthony’s most viral moments to date. Sharing a video of her boyfriend on her Instagram Stories, Shannon wrote at the time, “OMG.” 

It is worth noting that Shannon also travelled to Paris in the summer of 2024 to show her support in person for Anthony during the 2024 Olympics. She shared a number of pictures from the stands while cheering him on. For those unaware, Anthony played a significant role in helping the USA Men’s National team win a gold medal at the games. To mention, he achieved the feat while also being the youngest member on the team.

Shannon and Anthony Edwards announced that they were expecting their first child back in December 2023. Just a month after their announcement, the couple hosted a lavish baby shower in February 2023. If the reports are believed to be true, the event featured a white-and-rose-gold colourway with balloons. Not only that, but there were also two large tables with seating. Anthony and Shannon added a sweet touch to the baby shower with rose gold macarons with their child’s initials, “AJE”, written on them. 

Among the names on the guest list for the event were some of Anthony’s Minnesota Timberwolves teammates. This includes All-Star centre Karl-Anthony Towns, Kyle Anderson, Luke Garza, and Jordan McLoughlin. In a video Shannon shared on Instagram, she and Anthony were seen dancing and taking pictures together.  She wrote, “Baby A.J.E is ota…,” along with a heart and sparkle emoji. It is worth noting that as of April 2026, Shannon has disappeared from Instagram.

Shannon and Anthony embraced parenthood when they welcomed their daughter, Aislynn, on March 1, 2024. A year later, the pair celebrated their baby girl’s first birthday with a ladybug-themed party. I. Honour of Aislynn turning 1, Shannon wrote on Instagram:

“Words can’t describe how much you’ve brought us peace. I’m so happy to call you my daughter, our daughter, & your daddy’s ‘Aisy Paisy.’” 

Shannon has a son named Krue with rapper, Chief Keef

Well, Aislynn is not Shannon’s only child. According to reports, she is also the mother of a son named Krue Karter, whom she shares with rapper, Chief Keef. When Shannon was still active on Instagram, she often posted pictures of her son and had also created his own page. If a report by People is believed to be true, Shannon’s own IG bio at the time read, “I just love being a mom.”
