A Big Brother star has quickly become a firm fan favourite as viewers call for them to be crowned this year’s winner.
Philip Regan has won fans over with his humour and not holding back in sharing his opinions. As tensions rise in the iconic house and personalities clash, Philip remains a firm favourite amongst watchers.

Who is Big Brother’s Philip Regan?
Big Brother star Philip is a 53-year-old content creator from Liverpool widely known as the Queen of Scotty Road.
Before entering the iconic house, he was already known virally for his his distinct Scouse humour and quick wit, including his signature catchphrase “times are hard and friends are few… ta ra to you.” The phrase became so popular the star even released a single based on it.
He rose to fame back in 2021 when his videos started to go viral on social media platform TikTok racking in millions of views as he was then seen hosting local events and taking on theatrical productions.
Outside of reality TV and social media fame however, Philip is a theatrical performer and is set to star in a Christmas pantomime later this year. Cinderella will be available to watch at the M&S arena in Liverpool.

Philip Regan’s life before TV fame
Before Philip’s rise to fame, the Queen of Scotty Road moniker came from the days when he was drinking in the local pubs.
Before his TV and social media fame, he worked as a cook and a cleaner at a Liverpool homeless charity, giving back to his local community.
Speaking to the Liverpool ECHO back in 2021, he said: “I’m a caring person who will do anything for anyone. If I can help you then I will because, like I always say, times are still hard and friends are still few.”
What did he say about entering the Big Brother house?
Initially, Big Brother fans were baffled to see Philip appear in the Big Brother house, questioning whether he should be in the civilian series or the celebrity spin off. However, he has quickly become a fan favourite, not holding back in sharing his views.
For Philip though, his Big Brother entrance was about letting people see the real him as he told ITV : “I’m going to go in as the Queen of Scotty Road, but I’m going to come out as Philip Regan.”
When asked what he would do with the money if he won, he admitted: “I would sort a few close family members out. My mum in particular – I’d see my mum OK. She’s worked all her life.
“I’d also sort my family out. And I’d give some money to the charities I regularly work with. I would see them OK. And some very close friends. The rest, I would use to enjoy myself” but the star admitted the luxury was a “one off” in what he dubbed a now or never moment.
