Tracey Edmonds is a producer who has reportedly been working in the TV and film industry for more than 25 years. She has her own production company called Edmonds Entertainment, where she serves as the CEO. Additionally, Tracey also launched her own lifestyle brand in 2018. Over the years, Tracey has worked on several well-known projects, such as BET’s first-ever reality TV series, College Hill. While the show initially ran for six seasons, it returned as College Hill: Celebrity Edition. She has also produced BET’s Games People Play, The Postcard Killings, and Netflix’s End of the Road. 

It is worth mentioning that Tracey Edmonds is also a former TV journalist. She was seen on ExtraTV from 2014 to 2017, where she co-hosted alongside Mario Lopez and Charissa Thompson. Her time there has even earned her an Emmy award.

In the course of their marriage, they welcomed two sons named Brandon and Dylan. After her marriage came to an end, Tracey reportedly went on to date actor, Eddie Murphy. Talking about their relationship, Eddie’s representative at the time told People, “Tracey and Eddie are very much in love and are excited about spending the rest of their lives together.”

On January 1, 2008, the duo tied the knot on a private French Polynesian island. However, their married life came to a halt when they decided to split just 22 days later. It was in 2012 when Tracey Edmonds first crossed paths with the two-time Super Bowl champion, Deion Sanders, at a movie premiere party. According to reports, Tracey was one of the night’s honorees for helping produce the film, while Deion was a guest. Although their interaction at the party was brief, it was enough to make Deion fall for her, prompting him to ask his friend to obtain her business card. After reaching out to Tracey months later, Deion kept things strictly professional at first. Recalling the time, Tracey said:

“I started off thinking I was just going to produce [Deion’s Family Playbook]. But as I started working with Deion on the show, we grew quite fond of each other and ended up dating.”

Tracey and Deion got engaged in February 2019, after 8 years together. Posting a picture of her and Deion smiling on Instagram, Tracey wrote, “Happy Valentine’s Day, fam! Sending love to my love/ my fiancé @deionsanders! God is so good!” She added that they have made it through some storms over the past 8 years and will now be spending the rest of their lives together. Tracey ended her note by providing relationship advice to her followers. It read:

Tracey and Deion called off their engagement in December 2023. Taking to her Instagram in the days after they announced their split, Tracey clarified that it was her decision to end the relationship despite any narratives being presented. She added that she had chosen to prioritise herself and her family, “moving forward towards a future where I am valued, treated with honesty, and free to embrace the happiness and respect I deserve.”
