Suzy and Rich did not begin dating immediately and were best friends for three years, according to the former. She claimed that it took a long time for her to smarten up and quit dating jerks. However, her relationship with Rich took a romantic turn when he asked her to accompany him to the ESPY Awards as his date back in February 2000.

Later, they tied the knot in 2003 at the Boat House in Central Park. Suzy and Rich welcomed three kids together, Xander, Taylor, and Cooper, over the years of their marriage. A fun fact about Suzy is that she is really fascinated with African tribal art. She also made it a point to include a variety of African art and trinkets when decorating her and Rich’s home.

What did Rich Eisen say about games calling for the future?

There had been a lot of speculation as to whether Rich Eisen was planning to continue calling games. This was especially the case after ESPN took over production decisions of the NFL Network booth after it acquired NFL Media. Well, Rich did not hesitate to answer it during his appearance on Jimmy Traina’s SI Media podcast. He said:

“I believe I am. Yes, I am. I enjoyed doing it a lot, man. I enjoyed doing it a lot. But it’s so counter to what I normally do. Sitting in this chair on this set, three-hour radio TV simulcast game day morning on Sunday morning, if there’s dead air, if there’s blank space, if there’s no talking, my first thought is to jump in and fill the void. It’s the exact opposite when you’re calling a game. Your job is to shut the f up after the big moment happens.”
