Twisha Sharma reportedly died by suicide on May 12, 2026, at her matrimonial home in Bhopal. She was a former model and an actress. Her demise has spread nationwide attention on the case, and one of the voices that has been fighting for Twisha is her sister-in-law, Rashi Sharma. Well, a CBI probe has been going on related to Twisha’s case, her sister-in-law, Rashi Sharma, has been repeatedly speaking on behalf of Twisha’s family. She has been wanting a transparent investigation.

According to social media reports, Rashi Oberoi Sharma is married to a member of Twisha’s family. She has been one of the main relatives of Twisha who has spoken to the media, after Twisha died reportedly due to suicide, after claims of her in-laws harassing her mentally surfaced on the social media. Well, Twisha’s sister-in-law, Rashi, was not known widely before the case gained attention from all. However, now, Rashi’s statements have become a very important part related to conversations around the investigation.

Twisha Sharma’s sister-in-law, Rashi, revealed the former model had emotional distress

Twisha Sharma’s sister-in-law, Rashi, reportedly, in an interview with the ANI, revealed about her last conversation with her family members. Rashi claimed that Twisha had a lot of emotional distress and also wanted to leave her marital house. Rashi claimed that Twisha wanted to come back to her family and focus on her professional life. Rashi showcased the real state of Twisha’s mind during her last days.

Twisha Sharma’s sister-in-law, Rashi, also thanked everyone who supported the family as she claimed efforts were made to derail the investigation. Rashi shared that Twisha’s family is thankful to all of those who are supportive of her. Considering that everyone could see the discrepancies in these alleged matters and the investigations that were conducted so far, and everyone who tried to conspire against the just procedure. She is grateful that it has all come out.

Twisha Sharma’s sister-in-law, Rashi, claimed to have known her for a year

Samarth Singh’s wife, Twisha Sharma, was Miss Pune and was found dead under varied mysterious circumstances on May 12, 2026. Her mother-in-law, Giribhala Singh, had done her character assassination, while her husband. Samarth had been absconding for 10 days. The Supreme Court at one end has held that the case has to be handled by an independent agency and that both parties should not go to the media.

Well, on the flip side, Twisha Sharma’s sister-in-law, Rashi, in an interview with the ANI, claimed that she will be continuing to fight for justice for Twisha. This is because Twisha and Rashi had a very emotional relationship, and she claimed to have known Twisha for a year. Rashi, remembering Twisha, had said:

“I have known her (Twisha) for a year, and she told me I am like a daughter and she is like a mother to me. We have already lost her, but she will always be with us. Just like she had been bold and strong, we will keep fighting for her till the end. We have always been fighting so that things are conducted in a just manner and she gets the justice she deserves.”

Twisha Sharma’s younger brother, Major Harshit, had performed the last rites of his sister. He was devastated, while he wrapped his sister one last time in a red saree. A heartbreaking snap surfaced on the social media, where Rashi was seen resting her head on Major Harshit Sharma’s shoulder and held his arms as he saw his sister, Twisha’s body being consumed in flames. Twisha Sharma’s sister-in-law, Rashi, has stood by her sister-in-law at all times. Well, a team of senior doctors from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences had come to Bhopal to conduct a second post-mortem on Twisha. Rashi also had revealed earlier that she and the entire family of Twisha had full faith in the medical team and that a fair procedure would take place. In her words:

“We have complete faith in the team constituted from AIIMS Delhi by the High Court that things will now be conducted in a just manner.”

Twisha Sharma’s sister-in-law, Rashi, had earlier expressed her anger at Twisha’s mother-in-law, Giribala Singh. Rashi had addressed the claims of Giribala, alleging that Twisha was an addict, who did not want to have a child and had taken a decision to abort the baby. This had made her relatives very angry. Rashi had condemned the comments and had called Giribala’s behaviour ‘appalling’. In an interview with NDTV, Rashi said:

“It is okay to accuse. It is okay to defame the entire family… It is okay to do that for the living… but it is really shocking and appalling to do so for someone who’s dead.”
