BENGALURU: A 24-year-old woman, a physiotherapist, was found dead at a homestay under Nandidhama police station limits of Chikkaballapura while her boyfriend was alleged to have attempted to die by suicide and was taken to a hospital.
The deceased, Sai Surabhi, a resident of Bengaluru, had checked into the homestay along with Sanjith Ali, a cab driver, on Saturday. The homestay is located near Muddenahalli and they were to check out on Monday.
The staff at the homestay knocked on the door of the room to find out when they would check out. There was no response and the staff opened to doors to only to find the body of Surabhi wjile Sanjith was discovered in an unconscious state.
The family members of deceased Surabhi alleged that it was a case of murder. Police booked a case and began investigations.
