Hyderabad: The Nehru Zoological Park served a cake made with fruits and green vegetables, weighing about 7 kg, to all its five rhinoceroses to mark World Rhinoceros Day on Tuesday. An animal keepers held a talk show for about 250 students from different schools. Zoo curator J. Vasantha said that Nehru Zoological was at the forefront in educating the visitors as well as the citizens. The zoo houses five rhinos — three male and two females, nameld Suraj, Saraswati, Sai, Vijay, Nanda, and Prema. The zoo has successfully bred all highly-endangered species including the greater one-horned rhinoceros.
