Visakhapatnam: The YSRC emerged as the single largest party in the Saluru municipality elections, winning 13 of the 32 wards in Parvathipuram Manyam district.
The TD won 11 wards, while its alliance partner, the Jana Sena, secured four. The BJP won one ward, taking the NDA alliance’s total to 16. Independent candidates won the remaining three wards.
With no party securing a majority on its own, attention now turns to post-election negotiations and the election of the municipal chairperson. The YSRC has the largest individual tally, while the TD-Jana Sena-BJP alliance holds an equal number of seats.
