Vijayawada: The YSR Congress on Sunday promised full legal and political support to candidates who claim they are denied justice in the DSC-2025 teacher recruitment process
The party explained on Sunday that this campaign is aimed at exposing irregularities and is not meant to harm candidates who have already secured appointments.
A large number of affected aspirants met YSRC leaders at the party’s central office in Tadepalli and sought intervention. Addressing them, YSRC state coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, along with MLCs Parvatha Reddy, Chandrasekhar Reddy and Lella Appi Reddy, urged the candidates not to lose hope and promised them legal assistance. The party’s legal cell collected details from the candidates to pursue remedies.
Sajjala alleged that the DSC-2025 recruitment process was marked by policy changes and procedural irregularities, describing it as a “well-planned recruitment scam” that warrants a CBI probe. He questioned why the chief minister and the education minister did not address the controversy and instead relied on officials to defend the process.
Several candidates narrated their grievances. G Anjanappa of Anantapur alleged that an incorrect assessment of his disability percentage cost him an appointment under the physically challenged quota. Other candidates claimed irregularities in reservation implementation and certificate verification procedures, resulting in the loss of employment opportunities.
Reiterating its stand, YSRC leaders said the party would continue its legal and public campaign until justice is secured for deserving candidates and a transparent investigation is conducted into the alleged Sports Quota and DSC recruitment irregularities…
