Zendaya shines in a photocall for new film, The Odyssey, in which she stars alongside Lupita Nyong’o, Anne Hathaway and British actress, Samantha Morton
Zendaya looked like a Greek goddess as she promoted her new flick, The Odyssey. The Spiderman star, 29, who appears in the film alongside her husband, Tom Holland, 30, as goddess of wisdom, warfare, and strategic counsel Athena, took inspiration from her character in a floor-length white gown.
The actress was joined by co-star’s Lupita Nyong’o, 43, Anne Hathaway, also, 43 – who is expecting her third child – and British star, Samantha Morton, 49. Twilight’s Robert Pattison is also in the film and flashed a smile as he posed for pictures.
The Odyssey is Christopher Nolan’s epic adaptation of Homer’s classic and follows follows Greek hero Odysseus on his perilous journey home after the Trojan War.
Zendaya said she’s excited as anyone else to see the movie which comes out Friday July 17.
“As a fan I’m so excited to see this film,” she said. “I cannot wait to sit in an IMAX theatre and completely be lost in this world that he’s [director Sir Christopher Nolan] has created.”
