Nalgonda: The Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Yadagirigutta witnessed a heavy rush of devotees on Friday morning on the occasion of Swathi Nakshatram, considered the birth star of the presiding deity. Devotees also participated in giri pradakshina held in the morning hours, as the Swathi Nakshatram period continued till 10.30 am. Temple authorities reported packed queues since early morning.
The waiting time was about two hours for general darshan and one hour for special darshan, reflecting the increased footfall on the occasion.
