
TIRUPATI: Sri Padmavati Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam (SPMVV) will conduct AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET-2026 on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) on May 4 in a computer-based testing (CBT) format across the state.
Addressing the media on Thursday, Vice Chancellor Prof. V. Uma, who is also chairperson of the Common Entrance Test (CET), said the examinations will be held in two sessions at 100 centres spread across 13 districts. A total of 30,020 candidates have registered, including 20,101 male and 9,919 female candidates. She added that hall tickets have been available for download since April 20.
The 3-year LL.B entrance examination will be conducted in the forenoon session from 9 am, with candidates allowed into examination centres from 7.30 am. The 5-year LL.B and LL.M examinations will be held in the afternoon session from 2 pm, with entry permitted from 12.30 pm.
She warned that entry will not be allowed even if a candidate is late by one minute after the start time, fixed at 9 am and 2 pm for the respective sessions.
Candidates must carry their hall ticket along with a valid government-issued identity proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, passport or driving licence. She added that only blue or black ballpoint pens will be permitted inside the examination hall and no other items will be allowed.
