Three children stabbed, one dead in Blue Mountains

One child is dead and two other children and a woman remain critical, after a stabbing in the Blue Mountains.

Emergency services found three children and a woman suffering stab wounds inside a car on Waratah Road, Valley Heights, after receiving a report at 12.45pm on Sunday. One of the children was already dead.

The children are all believed to be under five years old. The younger children and the woman are being treated in hospital.

A crime scene has been established and police say they are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
