Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has passed away at the age of 27. His death was reported on Sunday, September 20, at a rehabilitation facility, according to records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner cited by TMZ.
Following the news, a representative for Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber and their daughter Kaia Gerber confirmed that the family is mourning Presley’s death. The family has requested privacy as they cope with the loss.
“The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” the statement read.
An official cause of death has not yet been disclosed. An autopsy is also yet to be completed, according to the report.
Born in Beverly Hills in 1999, Presley followed his mother into the fashion industry. He began modelling as a teenager and went on to work with several well-known fashion brands. His younger sister, Kaia Gerber, has also established herself as a model and actress.
