From kilt skirts to fingerless gloves and statement blouses, Marks and Spencer’s latest collection looks straight out of Celebrity Traitors

The Celebrity Traitors is well underway, with the twists, turns, missions and shock revelations keeping us all gripped to the TV screen. But, as with each series, its host Claudia Winkleman’s wardrobe also has us hypnotised, leading us to hit ‘buy’ on anything that looks remotely similar to whatever the TV icon is wearing that episode in a bid to recreate her look.

Recently, the Celeb Traitors presenter has been sporting a range of pieces that pay homage to the Scottish Highland setting of the show – pleated kilts, plaid and knitwear (created in Scotland, of course). While a lot of her outfits are curated by Sinead McKeefry with a mix of premium designer names and high street – take a peek at my roundup of her wardrobe so far here – we’ve found some brilliant alternatives at none other than Marks and Spencer.

Its latest range has some gorgeous staples we can see Claudia sporting. And to give some style inspiration, from fingerless gloves to skirts, I thought I’d share a few pieces that have caught my eye lately.

Knitted Fingerless Gloves with Wool – £10

No Claudia Winkleman-inspired wardrobe is complete without a pair of fingerless gloves. At every mission, she is seen wearing a pair, and when I saw these £10 gloves, I had to include them. While significantly cheaper than her go-to Brora wrist warmers (£65), these M&S gloves come in three colours – cream, red and navy – and appear to be just one size.

Made from a combination of 50% viscose, 29% polyester, 14% polyamide, and 7% wool, they’re designed to keep hands warm without limiting movement or finger use. Their plain design makes them a breeze to style, and they have a five-star rating, with one shopper noting: “These were bought so that I can grab things without pulling gloves on and off. These are lovely and warm and a lovely snug fit around the wrist.”

Magic Shaping High Waisted Leggings – £23

The Traitors star’s wardrobe will always also include a pair of leggings – specifically the Spanx SPANXshape Full Length Leggings, £88. But this £23 alternative pair from M&S appear to be a budget-friendly rival, thanks to their ‘figure-sculpting support and all-day comfort’.

Crafted to a flattering skinny fit, the Magic Shaping High Waisted Leggings have an elasticated high rise for a secure feel, and sit at the ankle for a ‘streamlined silhouette’. It also features tummy control and subtle darts at the waistband, which should complement the natural shape.

The leggings come in sizes six to 20 (22 is currently out of stock), and lengths from extra short to long. With over 1,000 reviews, it’s safe to say they have been a hit with shoppers, with one user raving: “These magic leggings absolutely do what they claim. They suck you in and help give you a smooth shape. Love them.”

Another noted: “I bought these for a flattering look on the tummy. I loved them so much that after the first day of wearing them, I ordered another pair. I am 5’9” and a size 12. I bought a long length, and they are perfect.”

While most loved the style, one three-star review shared how the leggings weren’t quite as expected: “Give a nice smooth silhouette but can roll slightly and could be a little higher waisted.”

That said, most have been in agreement with this positive review, which read: “They are almost like compression tights, which is a good thing. Totally holds in my wobbly tummy and rear and feels great. I am 5ft 7 and weigh 9 and a half stone and bought a size 10 regular length. It is a bit of a struggle to pull them up, but worth it.”

Pleated Wrap Kilt Skirt -£48

A pleated skirt is another constant in Claudia’s wardrobe rotation, and this M&S Pleated Wrap Kilt Skirt is a lovely option for recreating looks. Available in sizes 6 to 24, the skirt has a heritage-inspired edge with a wrap front for that layered look, not to mention swish. Coming in black, it’s fastened by a buckle at its waist that gives it a punk-style finish that neatly contrasts the classic style of the pleats.

It comes in a mini length, giving wearers ample movement. Paired with a relaxed jumper and a blouse – plus some Chelsea boots (like these £45 ones from Linzi shoes) – it’d be the perfect addition to a Claudia-inspired outfit.

For anyone wanting to lean even more into the Traitors style, add some checks with this Navy Tartan Pleated Midi Skirt from Noboy’s Child, £110. It’s part of Louise Thompson’s new collection and features a navy blue checkered pattern and a wrap-style front.

Pure Cotton Checked Tie Neck Shirt – £34

It seems that, without fail, our host wears a shirt or blouse with a statement collar in every episode. And this Pure Cotton Checked Tie Neck Shirt from M&S is a great way to ooze that same boldness. With both a Peter Pan collar and a tie neck, this shirt makes a serious impact, meaning there’s no need for competing accessories (some hoop earrings will do).

Decorated in a neat blue check pattern, the shirt has a regular fit – not too tight but not too loose – that would work wonderfully with jeans, barrel trousers, skirts and more. Another lovely detail about this shirt is its balloon sleeves that add a little bohemian flair to the look. Its elasticated cuffs add shape and comfort.

It’s been awarded five stars on the M&S website – despite being ‘new’ – with one shopper noting: “This has been a fun , useful blouse getting me over the summer to autumn season.” While they said they do ‘love the collar’, they noted: “I have to be careful when putting on a coat or jacket as it gathers up behind the neck.”

That said, they added: “The fabric is good quality and feels good next to the skin; the pattern is fun with a slight cowboy vibe. Great with dark blue separates and denim.”

For those wanting something more neutral to go with more of their wardrobe, H&M’s Frill-trimmed tie-neck blouse, £27, comes in a cream block colour and shares a similar collar and neck tie design.
