EXCLUSIVE: Romesh Ranganathan and Rob Beckett have reunited for their new television show – and this time they’re trying their hand at ghosthunting
Romesh Ranganathan and Rob Beckett have reunited for their latest challenge following a tough end on Celebrity Traitors.
Comedian Romesh is currently still in the show, having managed to avoid any suspicions. His decision to lead from the front and rally the Faithful together has seen him avoid banishment – for now.
Rob, meanwhile, was ‘murdered’ by the three Traitors in a horrifying midnight challenge in the woods. He was killed after the Traitors chose him over Ross Kemp, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Romesh.
Despite Romesh having to continue his Traitors journey alone, the pair have reunited for the latest episode of their series Rob & Romesh Vs. The show – which has run for nine series – sees Romesh and Rob battle with the Supernatural In New Orleans.

In an exclusive clip shared with The Mirror, Rob and Romesh are horrified when they go ghost hunting in a theatre. As one of their fellow ghost hunters asks if there is a ghost in the theatre, it asks it to touch the antenna. A high pitched sound then fills the room and the group are shocked to see the red heat map ‘rising’ from the chair.
“Something had to be around the antenna to make that box go off. This place is certified haunted,” one of the ghost hunters say and Rob and Romesh look around horrified.
Elsewhere in the episode, the pair set out to see if they can have their very own supernatural experience. In New Orleans, they head on ghost hunts, meet up with “real life” vampires and speak to The Notorious B.I.G through a Trance Channeller.
When it came to Celebrity Traitors, Rob has spoken about his exit from the show – and how stunned he was to find out one of his closest friends, James Acaster, was a Traitor.
“I knew it was Hannah, but James… I gave James the benefit of the doubt because he desperately wanted to be a Faithful, but then that’s the oldest trick in the book, saying that, but then he had been really quiet recently,” he said.
“On reflection, he’d avoided me a lot which makes sense, because I know him quite well. And then Maya Jama, I mean, Maya Jama does not change her personality, whatever’s happening. So she’s going to be a great Traitor, I think she could win it.”
Rob & Romesh Vs airs Wednesday’s on Sky and streaming service NOW.
