Aanchal Singh turned into an Indian princess in a beautiful bridal red lehenga for her big day. She revealed during an interview with IANS that it was something her mother envisioned. And she also wanted to wear a red bridal lehenga on her big day, as she wasn’t ready to experiment with any other colour for her big day.
Aanchal wore a classic red lehenga with temple jewellery that made her look super pretty. Talking about her look, she stated that people have asked her if she had always known what kind of bride she should be, and she had known it from the beginning. She said:
“People have asked me whether I always knew what kind of bride I wanted to be, and the answer is yes. I never had mood boards filled with ten different colours or silhouettes. In my heart, I always saw myself as a bride in red.”
She revealed that after watching Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, her mother told her that she always wanted to see her as a real bride in a beautiful shade of red one day, which stayed with her. She said:
“I still remember my mom telling me after watching Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, ‘I want to see you as a real bride in that beautiful shade of red one day.’That stayed with me. It wasn’t about recreating the outfit from the show because that bridal look was very contemporary. It was simply about that rich, classic red. Coincidentally, that was exactly the colour I had always imagined for myself too.”
Sharing her wedding photos, Aanchal penned a heartfelt note as she talked about her special day. She revealed that she felt chills the moment she heard the sound of the baraat, heading towards her wedding venue. She wrote:
“There comes this special day in every girl’s life- when her father walks her down the aisle and gives her hand to her man. We all get anxious thinking about it. I remember getting that chill down my spine the moment I heard the sound of the Baraat heading towards our wedding venue. But your @mohitchawla276 words calmed me down…”
Aanchal further added her husband’s reaction and stated that when he first saw her, he had felt that he was going to marry her one day, as he believed she would bring peace at home and in his life one day. She concluded the post as:
“So remember- this (wedding) is just a day for us to bring all our people together, have fun and celebrate us. What changes? Just the tag from us being partners to finally being married. Being each other’s ‘officially’ in the eyes of the world. There are moments in life where, besides everything, all we need is that little push of faith in each other when so much is happening around in the world. That one person who believes in you more than you do in yourself. Yes that for us is Love, and we are grateful we found it in each other.
