Voss has also began to have an impact on the game but he hasn’t been able to finish his work missing a shot on the run and a long shot from 55m out.

Larkey puts the Roos in front
This has been a great response from the Roos who have started controlling the footy and moving it towards their forwards.

Trembath with the side foot
Cooper Trembath followed the ball as he went towards Nick Larkey and when his mark was spoiled, the ball fell to the Roos forward and he side-footed it into the goals.
“He’s put it in the old onion bag,” joked Dwayne Russell on Kayo Sports, using an old soccer term for the goal net.

Switkowski pounces on Roo kick
Freo speedster Sam Switkowski leapt at the chance to intercept a chip kick from the Roos on the wing.
With no one in front of him, he sprinted towards goal and put it through the middle for a goal.
Roos defender Charlie Comden has been sent for a concussion test after taking an accidental elbow to the head in a marking contest. The Roos will cross their fingers that he is OK and can return.

Michael Frederick has marked in space and booted the first goal of the day.
The Roos have threatened around half forward but the Dockers have been far more impressive when they can run the ball through the corridor.

No O’Sullivan for Roos
Finn O’Sullivan is out for the Roos after picking up a concussion during training this week.
Roos coach Alastair Clarkson said O’Sullivan would miss the next two matches as he will be in the concussion program.
He challenged the club’s other onballers to step up, show their depth and cover for his absence.

Kangaroos aim to become ‘fair dinkum’ road warriors
North Melbourne coach Alastair Clarkson has challenged his players to become road warriors as the club attempts to become a “fair dinkum” premiership challenger.
The Kangaroos have turned Marvel Stadium into somewhat of a fortress this year, winning five of their six games at the venue.
But it’s been a different story on the road, with North nursing a 0-5 record away from Marvel this season.
Saturday’s match against Fremantle at Bunbury – about 175km south of Perth – is technically a home game for North given the club’s deal to sell two home fixtures a season to Western Australia over a three-year period.
