Rohit Shetty has officially announced the release date of his much-awaited film, Golmaal 5.
The filmmaker shared a new poster featuring Ajay Devgn riding a motorcycle, with Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharman Joshi and Kunal Kemmu all piled onto the same bike behind him. The entire gang can be seen smiling and posing for the camera, capturing the fun and chaotic spirit associated with the franchise.
Sharing the poster, Rohit Shetty wrote, “LAUGHTER, FUN, JOY, HAPPINESS AND FAMILY… BAS, NOTHING ELSE. 8TH JAN 2027.”

The upcoming film brings back several familiar faces from the franchise, including Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu and Sharman Joshi. Akshay Kumar has also joined the cast, marking his entry into the Golmaal universe.
The Golmaal franchise began in 2006 with Golmaal: Fun Unlimited and was followed by Golmaal Returns in 2008, Golmaal 3 in 2010 and Golmaal Again in 2017. The fifth film comes two decades after the franchise began and reunites the ensemble for another comedy outing.
The film is directed by Rohit Shetty, who has helmed all five instalments of the franchise, with Ajay Devgn continuing as one of its central faces. Kunal Kemmu, who joined the franchise with Golmaal 3, had previously confirmed that the team was shooting the film and described returning to the characters as a nostalgic experience.
Akshay Kumar’s addition marks a new chapter for the franchise. According to reports, he will play the antagonist opposite Ajay Devgn and the returning ensemble.
