Al Hilal have completed the signing of winger Crysencio Summerville from West Ham in a deal worth up to £60m.
Sky Sports News understands Al Hilal will pay an initial fee of £55m, plus £5m in potential add-ons.
The deal marks the third-highest sale in West Ham’s history, following Declan Rice’s transfer to Arsenal and Mateus Fernandes’ exit to Tottenham earlier in the window.
Summerville has signed a four-year deal at the Saudi Pro League side and now joins the likes of Ruben Neves, Karim Benzema and Theo Hernandez as part of Simone Inzaghi’s squad.
Roma were interested in the Netherlands international but had an offer of £39m (€46m) rejected on July 20. Manchester United were also targeting Summerville but were unable to progress with negotiations until Marcus Rashford was sold.
News of Al Hilal’s late bid for Summerville was first reported by Sky in Italy’s Gianluca Di Marzio. The Saudi club’s offer – worth nearly double Roma’s first proposal – was quickly accepted by West Ham.
The Hammers, who were relegated to the Championship, will have raised more than £150m from Summerville and Fernandes this summer once this sale is completed.
Summerville played 34 times for West Ham in 2025/26, scoring seven goals and assisting another five.
The 24-year-old then featured in all four of the Netherlands’ matches at the 2026 World Cup, scoring two goals and assisting two more.
