The Chief Minister will participate in the NTR Bharosa social pension distribution programme in the Gudur Assembly constituency. Ahead of the visit, the collector, accompanied by Gudur MLA Pasam Sunil Kumar and joint collector Mogili Venkateswarlu, inspected the venue and reviewed the arrangements.

Shukla said responsibilities had been assigned to various departments to ensure the programme is conducted smoothly in accordance with protocol. He directed officials to ensure foolproof security, establish health camps and help desks, maintain sanitation, provide uninterrupted drinking water and complete helipad, barricading and other infrastructure works.

He said around 5,000 to 7,000 people from nearby villages are expected to attend the programme.

The collector said the Chief Minister is also expected to review proposed investments in the Gudur constituency, including the Furniture Park and Krishnapatnam Port City projects, and discuss measures to accelerate the constituency’s development.

He added that several new industries are proposed for the district and are expected to generate large-scale employment opportunities for local youth.
