AP Approves Two Hotel Projects For Visakhapatnam Region

VISAKHAPATNAM: The state government has approved two hotel projects in the Visakhapatnam region to strengthen tourism infrastructure and promote commercial activity.

A five-star hotel will be developed at Madhurawada under the name Pramod Hotels and Resorts by Sri Durga Condev Pvt. Ltd. and Padma Hospitality with an investment of Rs 163 crore. The government has allotted 4.39 acres of land on lease for the project, which is expected to generate employment for around 150 people.

The government has also approved a three-star hotel project at Annavaram in Visakhapatnam district. The hotel will be developed by Shubha Sankalp under the Club Mahindra brand with an investment of Rs 174 crore. The project has been allotted 11.24 acres of land on lease and is expected to provide employment to about 150 people.

The government expects the two projects to enhance tourism infrastructure, attract more domestic and international visitors, and support growth in the hospitality sector while creating employment opportunities.
