Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh police department has placed Circle Inspector (CI) B Chinnamallaiah under suspension in connection with sexual harassment allegations. The Circle Inspector is currently under VR in the Guntur range.
The victim, who lives in the rented house of the CI in Brahmanpalli, complained to the police that she was raped. The police registered a case based on the victim’s complaint and started an investigation.
Primary evidence regarding the rape has been collected. Chinnamallaiah previously worked as a CI in Vinukonda and is currently in VR.
