The Chicago Bears are doing everything they can to maintain their lead against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football and they may need to do so without their current starting left tackle.
In the third quarter, Braxton Jones went down awkwardly with a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Jones was pushed into quarterback Case Keenum before going down. The team is officially listing him as questionable to return.
With Jones out and Ozzy Trapilo still not ready for game action, the Bears will turn to third-year offensive lineman Theo Benedet to fill in. Benedet has seen time as a starter at left tackle in the past and had been rotating with Jones over the past couple of games. Near the end of the third quarter, the Bears lead the Eagles 20-7.
