A beauty influencer and mom has died after she suffered complications while undergoing cosmetic surgery, according to reports.
Adriana García, a 30-year-old content creator with more than 90,000 followers on social media, died following Tuesday’s operation at a private clinic in Sinaloa, Mexico, El Universal reported.
A cause of death hasn’t been revealed, the outlet said, with the death still under investigation.
Her death was confirmed by Drop Shop, a Mexican retailer she worked with that sells limited-edition sneakers and luxury jewelry.
“Today we bid farewell to a member of the Drop Shop family, fondly remembering her wonderful character, her dedication, and the moments we shared with her,” the company said, paying tribute to García – a mom who leaves behind a daughter, 6.
García last posted on her Instagram on July 1 – sharing throwback beach snaps from her trip to Los Cabos last year.
“Photos I didn’t upload,” she captioned her carousel of pictures.
Last month, she shared a now-heartbreaking snap where she posed with her daughter.
García turned 30 in April, but revealed that the month that she usually “looked forward with great excitement” was marred by two tragedies: the loss of her dad and granddad.
“Two people who left a profound mark on my life and my heart,” she said, reflecting on her late family members.
“Hello to my 30s… with a heart full of eternal love for you both.”
