Romeo, Cruz and Harper Beckham have been pictured together amid their estrangement from older brother Brooklyn, seemingly putting on a united front amid the feud
The Beckham siblings have been pictured together amid their estrangement from older brother Brooklyn. The eldest child of David and Victoria Beckham, who married Nicola Peltz in April 2022, publicly disowned his family earlier this year in a viral social media post and they have not spoken since.
The wannabe chef has missed several family occasions, such as his dad’s knighthood, his mother’s birthday party and a recent ceremony held to mark the footballer being granted a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Around this time, Harper was seen walking up to Brooklyn’s driveway in an apparent attempt to mend the rift but he wasn’t home.
On Monday, Romeo, 23, posted an image of himself along with Cruz, 21, and 14-year-old Harper onto his Instagram, seemingly putting on a united front with his siblings amid the feud.
Romeo and Cruz have very much distanced themselves from Brooklyn following his public takedown of their family, so Harper, so far, has been the only one to reach of publicly.
However, it’s thought that the visit did not sit well with Brooklyn. Sources closes to Brooklyn were quick to claim that the impromptu visit was another poor stunt from ‘brand Beckham’ that he made very clear he did not want to be a part of.
A spokesperson for Brooklyn told the Mirror: “That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras.”
Earlier this year, after months of rumours Brooklyn announced he was separating from his famous family for good in an explosive six-page statement on Instagram.
He accused his parents of manipulating his life, trying to sabotage his relationship with wife Nicola and damaging his mental health in their quest to keep ‘brand Beckham’ moving along.
He wrote: “I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.
“The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.
“Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own façade. But I believe the truth always comes out.”
