An evicted Big Brother star has revealed the 2026 cast isn’t as divided as viewers might think.
Chelsey became the second housemate to be eliminated last week and has been spilling behind-the-scenes truths ever since. The social worker, 29, was voted out by viewers after finding herself at the centre of drama in the house.
She had also built a reputation for sticking with her close friends Lynx, Rhianna and Omar, with other housemates claiming the group didn’t make an effort to bond with the rets of the cast.
Viewers frequently saw Chelsey when she was in the company of her chosen clique, but she claims she had plenty of friendships in the show that didn’t get much screen time.
Taking to TikTok on Tuesday (September 29), Chelsey admitted that she had stronger bonds with a few housemates. “Being really honest, there are people that I did spend more time with because I got on with them more,” she said.
She continued: “There were other people that I didn’t have anything in common with, the conversations felt really forced, there was no substance – so that is why I chose to hangout with some people more than others.”
However, the Manchester-based star added: “And I did hang out with people like Charlotte, we were very, very close. I was doing her hair every day, I was helping her get dressed, we spent a lot of time together. Same with Yas, it wasn’t just with the other three [Rhianna, Omar and Lynx]. And with Rochelle and Philip as well, a lot of that isn’t shown.”

Chelsey has also taken responsibility for her behaviour on the show, confessing that she could have “acted differently”. But the reality star continues to defend her corner because fans “only see 45 minutes” of a full day in the Big Brother house.
In the same TikTok video, she explained: “There’s a lot of stuff that isn’t aired, you guys only see 45 minutes of a full 24 hours. I’ve seen a lot of clips of when I was in the house, and do you know what? I agree, it doesn’t look very nice at times.
“On reflection, there are things that I could’ve maybe not said or done differently or acted differently. But I think a lot of the context for you guys isn’t seen. I’ve never been on TV before, I’ve never done reality TV, so no one tells you how to act. And I didn’t have a game plan, I didn’t go in thinking ‘I need to act this way to win’ I just wanted to enjoy my time in there.”
The famous house will lose yet another housemate this week as hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best return for another eviction on Friday night (October 2).
