‘Biological Clock Ticking..’ Lance Armstrong Broke Engagement With Sheryl Crow As She Wanted Kids

Sheryl Crow made headlines after she made a shocking revelation about how she found out about her ex-fiancé, Lance Armstrong, dating a famous actress. The gorgeousness’ revelation on the Netflix show left many in shock. But not many know the reason behind Sheryl Crow and Lance Armstrong’s breakup. 

Why did Lance Armstrong and Sheryl Crow break their engagement?

Sheryl and Lance had been together for three years. The couple fell in love in 2003, and by February 2006, they called off their engagement. In an interview with Howard Stern for the SiriusXM radio show, Lance revealed that they were the power couple, and it wasn’t easy staying up to the tag. He gave Sheryl all the credit as she was staying at home and was the biggest rockstar. He even called her a great partner. He said:

“It’s tough to pull it off. I mean, how many couples have been able to pull it off? To her credit, she was a stay-at-home — one of the biggest rockstars — but she was a great partner. She was at the races. It wasn’t like we never saw each other.”

But no matter how good two people are together, when their paths don’t align, a similar thing happened between Sheryl and Lance. In the 2009 book, Lance: The Making of the World’s Greatest Champion, Armstrong confessed that they parted ways because Sheryl wanted marriage and children. Sheryl said:

“She wanted marriage, she wanted children; and not that I didn’t want that. But I didn’t want that at that time because I had just gotten out of a marriage, I’d just had kids.”

Lance Armstrong further revealed that they were against her biological clock, and the pressure is what cracked it. He wrote, “Yet we’re up against her biological clock — that pressure is what cracked it.” Lance had three children from his first marriage. For those who don’t know, Lance Armstrong got married for the second time to Anna Hansen in 2022. They fell in love in 2008, and after years of togetherness, they decided to make it official. The couple also have two kids, Max and Olivia. Not many know that Armstrong was linked with Cary Deuber in 2006, Tory Burch in 2007 and Kate Hudson in 2008.

Sheryl Crow appeared in Netflix’s show, The Bobbycast. During the show, Sheryl talked about her unexpressed emotions. She shared that she was engaged and had made her future plans with Lance Armstrong. She had three beautiful step-children and wanted to have more kids with him. But life happened, and they broke their engagement. In the same week, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and found out that he was seeing a really famous actress. She said:

“I was engaged, I had three beautiful stepchildren, I wanted to have kids with this person. We split in the same week I got diagnosed with breast cancer, and I found out he was seeing a really famous actress.”
