Katie Price says she has “given up the search” for Lee Andrews and is just going to let the police deal with the whole situation regarding her missing husband going forward
Katie Price says she has ‘given up the search’ for Lee Andrews. The ex-glamour model, 47, tied the knot with Dubai businessman Lee in January just two weeks after she met him the pair have rarely been out of the headlines since, especially as he has faced multiple accusations of being a conman.
Since the wedding, Katie has spent time going backwards and forwards to Dubai and Lee was due to arrive last week in the UK in order to appear live on Good Morning Britain in what would have been their first joint interview as a couple, but he failed to board the flight and his whereabouts is currently unknown.
At a loss with the situation, Katie has now said that she is going to “leave it to the police” going forward. Speaking on the latest episode of The Katie Price Show podcast, she said: “There’s nothing I can do, nothing more that I can say. And the police are dealing with it. I’m just leaving it to the police.

“I’m not gonna talk about it anymore, I’m just staying quiet because it’s getting ridiculous now, people just taking the p**s out of everything.”
She added: “The police are now handling it, the British police, British consulate, the Foreign Office, Interpol they’re on the case looking for Lee.
“All I can do is just get on with my life. I’ve got lots of exciting things coming up, and I’m just waiting for a call. What am I supposed to do, sit here and cry and do nothing, stay in bed? For my own sanity, I’m taking a step back.”
After spending hours trying to contact her husband to no avail, Katie phoned the police.
“Then we got in contact with the police out in Dubai and I’ve got a head of CID out there, so it’s really worrying because me and Lee are in constant, constant contact all the time,” she said on her YouTube channel.
She added: “It’s worrying that his location has gone off. So then we contact the police, the embassy, so has his family. And so I’ve had the head of CID in Dubai trying to track Lee. So far, I got a message this morning, so now it’s three days, saying that no one can find anywhere in the country where Lee has been detained.
“I’ve never known a week of so much stuff everywhere. My brain has just been bonkers. Everyone’s seen my YouTube – there’s nothing more for me to say apart from the police are now handling it. The British police, British consulate, Foreign Office, Interpol; they’re all on the case now looking for Lee.
“My tentacles are up, I’m not stupid. There’s one person I need to look after, myself. I’m taking a step back and that’s it. I don’t know what’s true and what’s not true. I don’t know. My antennas are up and I’ve decided to take a step back from everything and assess everything in my way. What will be will be.”
Katie’s sister Sophie – who has been on record that she’s not a fan of Lee – had her say on the latest updates, insisting that her priority would always be her own family.
“I don’t know Lee and I don’t have an affinity with Lee. I didn’t know him, Kate does, I don’t. I can’t really say too much on that,” she said.
My priority is my sister and the family at the heart of it. I’ve got my own views, I don’t really need to air them. I don’t think -” Katie then said there was already so much going around and she was struggling to ignore the speculation.
Katie insisted she would never let a man “break her down” mentally and insisted it was out of her hands with him missing and she had planned to get on with her life.
“If they find Lee, I’ll cross that bridge when it happens. Onwards and upwards,” she added, before talk then turned to eldest son Harvey and being a working mum, as well as her upcoming birthday.”
