“Just a normal day for @caitlinclark22,” Nike posted Tuesday on social media along with a video of Clark eating breakfast. “Wake up. Eat cereal. Lace up the Caitlin 1. Sell out arenas. Repeat.”

However, as Clark eats in the video, it quickly becomes obvious that she and Nike are fully leaning into her dry humor and doubling down on the fact the media covers her every move, even while she does “normal” things at her job.
“At this job, she sells out a variety of arenas, shoots from distances previously considered unnecessary and wears shoes with her own name on them,” the ad says. “The media finds all of this extremely interesting. But to her, this is all totally normal.”
An unfazed and silent Clark carries on with her day, eating her “Logo O’s” ― a fitting nod to her logo 3-pointers ― while wearing a yellow and blue colorway of her Caitlin 1s.

The latest ad from the Indiana Fever guard and Nike is a push to promote her signature shoe, before they drop on Oct. 1. While it’s bound to get some attention for its cleverness, Clark has been leaving similarly themed hints along the way.

In June, she shared an Instagram post full of images from recent events in her life, including multiple photos that showed a first look at her Nike signature shoes. “A very, very, very, very, very normal photo dump,” Clark said.
In September, she captioned another Instagram photo dump, “Just a very ordinary day on set,” with images from the set promoting her shoes and life. In the photos, Clark shows off multiple colorways of the Caitlin 1s as she plays golf and eats her “Logo O’s.”
