Cara Delevingne has seemingly shared a subtle swipe at exes Jack O’Connell and Harry Styles as she opened up on her current relationship status

Cara Delevingne hasn’t held back as she confirmed she is a lesbian. The actress, who has dated a number of high-profile stars, including Harry Styles and Jack O’Connell, made a confession when it came to her sexuality.

She had previously labelled herself as pansexual, but has now revealed she is lesbian during a confessional segment at Rosalia’s gig at London’s O2 Arena. The 33-year-old said on Wednesday: “If you didn’t know this already, I’m a lesbian and my weakness used to be straight women.”

She went on: “I don’t know why, it’s just because they weren’t really straight. It’s the challenge, but it’s also because I generally don’t think anyone is fully straight.”

And in an apparent jibe to her male exes, including the former One Direction star, she added: “Also, I don’t think men knew how to pleasure their girlfriends well enough.”

Cara and Harry briefly dated in 2013. She also dated Jake Bugg and Jack O’Connell. She is now happily in a relationship with Leah Mason, a singer known as Minke.

The duo have been dating for almost four years and Cara told the crowd: “I’m in a committed relationship but the thing is I used to always love being the dominant one, I love to take control. But I think it’s because I’m actually scared of being seen. I’m scared to be submissive because I didn’t want to receive love, but now I think I’m ready.”

Cara recently appeared at the Met Gala. The fashion event of the year took place on the first Monday in May and saw an influx of A-list stars head to Manhattan for the showcase.

And it marked Cara’s 13th appearance on the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s red carpet. She took to Instagram to share her disbelief and upload snaps of her stunning and elegant look.

She wrote: “13th Met Gala feels wild especially since I am barely over 21. When do you think I qualify for a loyalty card? Thank you to everyone on my team who made this possible. Honored to wear @ralphlauren and thank you @voguemagazine for trusting me with a live mic.”

She will soon take to the stage for her first-ever music headline tour. After making the announcement, she told her fans why she decided to switch industries.

She said: “Music. It’s forever been my biggest fear and my greatest love. I Forgot and Out of my Head are the first peek inside my stream of consciousness over the last few years. I cannot quite believe we are finally here.”

Katy Perry was among those sharing their support at her decision. The Firework singer wrote: “OMFG.” Gigi Hadid, also said, “Long time coming!! Very proud,” while her sister Poppy Delevingne commented: “WEEEEEPING!! You were born to do this baba!!!! So PROUD!!!”
