Budding musician Cruz Beckham has put on a loved-up display with his girlfriend Jackie Apostel during a sunny getaway to Florida – following his rather cryptic recent post amid the rumbling feud with his eldest brother, Brooklyn.
The 21-year-old, who is the frontman of indie rock group The Breakers, looked like he was leaving all the drama behind in the two sweet snaps, with musician Jackie, 29.
Jackie gave an insight into their getaway on Instagram with one photo showing her stood in front of a gorgeous backdrop of palm trees, blue skies and sea, wearing a backless black dress as she looked towards the camera.
In the second sweet image, Cruz could be seen wrapping his arm around his girlfriend, as he kissed her on the cheek, while closing his eyes, wearing a yellow polo shirt tucked into black trousers.
His mum, fashion designer Victoria – who celebrated her 52nd birthday with family in Miami on Friday, but was totally blanked on the day by Brooklyn, commented on the snap, with the words: “So pretty,” with four red heart emojis.
The happy pictures of their Florida break come after Cruz shared a post about his phone calls being ignored, just hours after Victoria broke her silence on the family feud that has torn the family apart.
Posting to his Instagram stories, Cruz shared a screenshot from his phone of himself attempting to FaceTime someone, but with the contact name cropped out.
The mystery deepened with his caption, which read simply: : “I never get an answer…” before he added: “Anyway, new tour vlog is out @itsthebreakers check it, link in story’s“.
Though the youngest of the Beckham brood didn’t name-check the person that’s not been answering his calls, it could have been a subtle dig at Brooklyn – who has blocked him on social media amid the painful family fallout.
And Cruz isn’t the only family member to be estranged from budding chef Brooklyn and his actress wife, Nicola Peltz since his bombshell statement back in February, during which he blindsided the family by saying he had felt ‘controlled’ by them all his life – and claimed that Brand Beckham was the most important thing to his famous parents.
The Beckhams had maintained a dignified silence on their ruptured relationship with Brooklyn, 27, until recently – when Victoria, speaking for the first time on the controversy, was asked directly in an interview with the Wall Street Journal about her eldest.
The former Spice Girl commented diplomatically, not naming any names: “I think that we’ve always—we love our children so much. We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be.
“And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”
It’s believed Victoria and footie icon David have been left heartbroken at what has happened with Brooklyn, with reports claiming the pair had even offered to meet with Brooklyn and Nicola in the presence of lawyers and therapists, to try and build bridges.
