Addressing a packed auditorium, at the pre-release event of Chennai Love Story, he encouraged the youth to think beyond their limitations. “Dream. Not just at night, dream during the day. Opportunities will definitely come your way. After all, they came my way too. You have only one life to live,” he said to thunderous applause.
At the same time, the actor cautioned youngsters against blindly chasing the glamour of cinema. “Don’t get attracted to the film industry just because it looks glamorous. Choose the field that really interests you and excel in it. Success is possible in every profession if you work sincerely,” he advised.
Recalling his own journey in the Telugu film industry, Chiranjeevi said he entered cinema at a time when legendary stars like N.T. Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Krishna and Shobhan Babu were dominating the screen. “Instead of competing with them in the same way, I wanted to carve out my own identity by offering something different to the audience. Fortunately, people accepted me. Likewise, each one of you should think differently,” he said. Chiranjeevi welcomed new talent into the film industry and encouraged aspiring actors, technicians and filmmakers to pursue their dreams with dedication, confidence and originality.
