According to a Daily Mail report, Dianna Russini’s husband still cares for her and their marriage despite the controversy and the ‘embarrassment’. A source told The Daily Mail that despite being ‘emasculated’, Russini’s husband is still willing to work on their marriage. As per the source:

“Her husband has felt sidelined for a long time, and this controversy might be what finally pushes things to a breaking point. At the same time, he’s dealing with the embarrassment, still cares about her, and would want to find some way to fix things if he can. The emasculation has taken a toll though.”

After Page Six published photographs showing Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel holding hands, there has been a huge tension in Russini’s marriage. Both Dianna and Mike are married and have kids with their respective partners. However, the scandal not only cost Russini her position in The Athletic, but her marriage also went to shambles. A source close to Russini shared:

“On top of that, her marriage has taken a serious hit, and she’s also dealing with the loss of Mike, who she genuinely loved.”

A few days back, Page Six shared exclusive pictures of New England Patriots head coach, Mike Vrabel and New York Times NFL reporter, Dianna Russini. In the pictures, Dianna and Mike were seen spending time together at a hotel in Arizona. The images, reportedly taken on March 28, 2026, showed Dianna and Mike holding hands and hugging on a private rooftop bungalow during the evening.

After a few days, Dianna and Mike’s pictures went viral, and Page Six released a new set of pictures of Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel from 2020, in which both were seen having a close conversation with each other at a dimly lit, romantic Manhattan bar. The pictures are from 2020, six years ago, before the duo’s latest photo scandal. In one of the pictures, Mike was seen leaning towards Dianna and apparently kissing her.

Dianna Russini joked about her marriage with Kevin Goldschmidt, “falling apart” 

In February 2026, Dianna Russini appeared on Stugotz and Company while she was in San Francisco, covering the 2026 Super Bowl. During her appearance, Dianna cracked a number of jokes about her marriage to Kevin Goldschmidt, saying it is “falling apart.” As soon as her pictures with Mike Vrabel went viral, Dianna’s jokes from the conversation resurfaced on social media. In the clip, Dianna joked, “We’re getting divorced at the end of the year,” before adding, “we’re going through it.” This led one of the hosts to quip, “Sorry, Kev.”
