Questions are being raised about how Nancy’s church folks were told to keep quiet by Savannah’s family after her abduction.

Well, new details, according to a Hindustan Times report, have emerged related to the case of Nancy Guthrie. The role of church acquaintances in how the case was handled has raised eyebrows. It was in February 2026 when Nancy went missing from her Tucson home in Arizona. She had missed the regular church gathering that had puzzled her fans.

Well, during Nancy’s abduction investigation, it was found that according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, Nancy was to visit a friend’s home on February 1, 2026. She was to see a livestream of a mass. When Nancy failed to come, her friends could not contact her, and her family was alerted due to rising concerns. Now, NewsNation’s Brian Entin, in an interview with Parade, revealed the insights he gained from Nancy’s friends at the church. Entin emphasised the fact that Nancy’s church friends were told to be quiet about her abduction and said:

“We’ve heard from several that the Guthrie family has asked Nancy’s close friends to keep things private right now. You haven’t seen a lot of her close friends come forward and talk about her, which is different than other cases.”

Why Nancy Guthrie’s case is not being discussed

Brian Entin had also stated that there is significant discomfort regarding Nancy’s case, especially among Tucson residents. The locals have had a feeling of anxiety related to the full situation. The neighbours and Nancy’s residents are not accustomed to such events, and there has been a lack of understanding of the case. Brian also noted that new information related to Nancy’s matter cannot be found. He also noted that those related to the case do not want to speak and said:

“It’s been interesting to see who wants to talk and who doesn’t. No one has said anything.”

Reports indicate that Nancy Guthrie’s church friends were the first to raise the alarm about her disappearance. Nancy had the habit of joining a small group of friends, and they would come to watch a virtual stream from her church. Her sudden disappearance has been unusual. These church friends were the first to contact Nancy’s family when she did not appear at the church.

The information related to the same is by Brian Entin, who will be hosting his new TV show called NewsNation Presents: The Nancy Guthrie Mystery. It will be broadcast on May 6, 2026. Entin had informed in an interview with the Parade that he had tried to reach out to Nancy’s friends from the church for the special segment, but he had not been successful.
