Eamonn Holmes’ girlfriend, Katie Alexander, has shared a poignant social post after the presenter’s ex, Ruth Langsford, has reportedly become pals with his first wife

Eamonn Holmes’ girlfriend, Katie Alexander, has made a cryptic remark about ‘protecting your energy’ and ‘knowing your worth’ after reports surfaced she’d moved out of the £1.3million flat they shared in Surrey.

Katie, 44, posted the comment amid reports that Eamonn‘s two ex-wives have put the past behind them and ‘come through’ for him after her suffered a stroke April.

Ruth Langsford, 66, who called it quits with the former This Morning star, also 66, two years ago, is said to have joined forces with the star’s first wife, Gabrielle Holmes, to be there for Eamonn when he needs them most. The women – as well as Eamonn’s wider family – are said to be ‘pulling together’ as they ‘navigate what’s best’ for the father-of-four.

There is reportedly ‘no love lost’ between Katie and Eamonn’s exes and now the councillor has taken to social media with a cryptic post. Sporting an aquamarine bikini, gazing studiously at the sun on a beautiful beach, she posted: “There is a quiet kind of strength in becoming comfortable with who you are.

“No longer needing to prove, explain or seek validation – just choosing peace, protecting your energy and finding beauty in the life you’re creating.”

Insisting that “softness is strength”, she signed off: “Softness is strength. Peace is luxury. And knowing your worth changes everything. Starting with yourself.”

It comes after Katie was reportedly feeling ‘utterly tormented’ and ‘very very upset’ after allegedly being left ‘cast aside’ by Eamonn’s family while they care for the star.

According to reports, while Ruth and Eamonn have been “completely and entirely at odds with one another” for a long time after their 14-year marriage ended in 2024, the TV presenter and her ex’s first wife, Gabrielle, are “clubbing together and rallying around with the kids to protect Eamonn.”

Katie reportedly had been forced to move out of Eamonn’s apartment in Kingston-upon-Thames, where she had been living part time for the last three years, leaving her ‘devastated.’

Eamonn has battled with his health over the years, undergoing surgery for both hips to alleviate chronic hip, leg, and back pain in 2016. After that, he fell down the stairs and fractured his shoulder. He then got a painful infection and later had severe spinal issues that led to bladder and bowel problems and a nine-day hospital stay. Later in 2022, he suffered another fall.

The Mirror has contacted Eamonn and Ruth’s reps for comment.
