Kakinada:Former member of Lok Sabha from Eluru, Kotagiri Sridhar, has been elected as President for Andhra Pradesh FootBall Association. The elections for the new executive committee were held on Sunday in East Yadavalli village in Kamavarapukota mandal.
The panel was elected unanimously and in accordance with the notification issued on September 14.
Tanguturu Radhika Reddy (Vice President-1), Guthikonda Vamsi Kiran (Vice-President-2) J.V.Anil Kumar (vice-President -3) and Eleswarapu Neeladri Venkata Kumar (Treasurer) were the elected.
In the general body meeting, the members elected M Daniel Pradeep as general secretary for the association. Retired judge, Justice G Shyam Prasad, was the returning officer.
Kotagiri Sridhar said the development of football in the state is the primary objective of the new executive committee and efforts would be made to identify and encourage talent hidden in every town.
