Even though his wife, Teresa initially revealed that the baseball player died due to a heart attack to ESPN’s Michael Eaves, a recent report by California Post has shared another update about the cause of his death.

According to a recent report by The California Post, the veteran baseball player, Garret Anderson passed away due to major complications in pancreas. Reportedly, the cause of his death was acute necrotizing pancreatitis. If reports are to be believed, such conditions are caused by gallstone disease and alcohol. It is worth noting that moments after the player’s death, his wife, Teresa came forward and revealed that he died due to a heart attack, according to a report by TMZ.
