Gemma Collins made sure she was dressed to impress when she rocked up at Elton John’s party this week. The Diva Forever star, 45, looked like she was living her best life with the Rocketman legend, 79, who invited the former TOWIE star to the launch of his non-alcoholic champagne, called Elton John Zero, at the River Cafe in London.
Sporting a floor-length leopard print dress with Gucci sandals and a monogrammed purple velvet bag from the Italian fashion house, the G.C revealed Elton had inspired her outfit choice. Cosying up to the star – who also stole the show in a canary yellow suit and sky blue glasses – Gemma gushed that she’d had “the most beautiful evening” with the music icon, who boasts millions of fans around the world.
Taking to Instagram, sharing snaps from the glam bash, which also included Liz Hurley’s son Damian – and DJ Fat Tony – Gemma, whose makeup was suitably glamorous to compliment her bleached blonde locks, gushed: “The most beautiful evening with @eltonjohn @davidfurnish @eltonjohnzero celebrating the most wonderful tasty crisp most decadent ZERO ALCOHOL CHAMPAGNE @eltonjohnzero.”
Urging retailers to stock her pal’s non-alcoholic beverage, she continued: “EVERY restaurant and retailer in the land and world need to stock this! What I enjoyed most about it was the flamboyant and glamorous bottle because I find a lot of zero alcohol brands dull!
“I will be drinking this all summer and every season in between ! Guys this is a COOL DRINK ! Order it everywhere you GO ! And please follow @eltonjohnzero.”
Revealing she wore Gucci because she knows how much Elton loves the brand, Gemma signed off: “Lovely to have my dear darlings with me @dj_fattony_@stavrosagapiou @michaelhennegan thank you @davebenett wouldn’t be a party without you and the most sweet lovely @damianhurley1 loved our chat. @gucci thank you @walter0612 for the amazing leopard look. I know how much Elton loves Gucci and I wanted to impress !”
Responding, model Damian, who also pulled out all the stops for the bash, sporting a purple satin shirt and matching trousers – and looking very much like his mum Liz – wrote: “Aww. Love this so much” with two heart emojis.
Since shooting to fame on TOWIE, Gemma has amassed millions of fans and counts a whole load of A-listers as pals. However, just six years ago the G.C couldn’t believe she was rubbing shoulders with the likes of Sir Elton when she went to the south of France.
Gemma was a long way from Brentwood when she dined at high-end beachside restaurant La Guérite in Cannes as Elton, David Furnish, Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas were also there enjoying seafood and drinks.
“So we are off to La Guérite today,” Gem said as she took to Instagram Stories before sailing off for lunch.
“We are partying hard,” she warned – while wearing a striking luminous green outfit.
“Apparently Elton John, Catherine Zeta Jones, Michael Douglas are all there,” Gemma went on – before revealing she was getting dressed to make a big impression on the A-list stars.
