Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) cancelled the Gowthami SF Express and the Intercity SF Express on Tuesday. Gowthami Express runs from Lingampally to Kakinada Port, and the Intercity Express from Guntur to Secunderabad.
Additionally, several trains in the SCR network will face partial cancellations and delays due to a traffic block in the Nanded division, for the commissioning of a new IBS signalling system between Parbhani and Mudkhed.
A number of passenger trains, including services between Adilabad, Parli, Nanded and Nizamabad, will be partially cancelled on May 16. Some services will not run on certain stretches, affecting regular travel plans.
In addition, several long-distance trains will be regulated between Nanded and Purna, with delays ranging from 20 minutes to 80 minutes between May 14 and May 16. Passengers have been advised to check train timings before travel and make alternative arrangements where needed.
