The multiplex won’t be the only place you can hear Hans Zimmer’s iconic scores in 2027.
From February through April, the legendary “Dark Knight”/”Dune”/”Pirates of the Caribbean”/”Lion King”/”No Time to Die” composer will hit arenas all over North America as part of his Next Level Tour.
That includes a pair of gigs in New York and New Jersey. They’re scheduled to take place at:
UBS Arena
Belmont Park, NY
Friday, Feb. 19, 2027
Prudential Center
Newark, NJ
Sunday, Feb. 21, 2027
“I want fans to feel like they’re at a rave party or riding a roller coaster,” Zimmer said in a statement, according to Billboard. “For me, every show is a new voyage of discovery.”
All shows will put the 69-year-old German virtuoso and his international 19-piece band front and center while they blend live instruments with electronic elements and larger-than-life visuals.
As fpr what they take to the stage, Zimmer and co. played suites from “The Dark Knight,” “Dune,” “Gladiator,” “Interstellar” and “Lion King” as well as other iconic films at past concerts on his past globe-trotting runs, according to Set List FM,
“For…three hours…the ensemble took the sold-out Barclays Center on a dramatic, heart-racing adventure,” The Post wrote in a review of a February 2025 Brooklyn Zimmer concert. “He…has a gift for starting small…and reaching for the biggest crescendo possible to create a singular sound that leaves the rapt audience in a trance-like state.”
“In fact, for the entire [show’s] runtime, I felt like I was the main character in a movie Zimmer scored, a true movie geek dream fully realized.”
