Anantapur: Hindupur senior leader Naveen Nischal joined the Jana Sena in the presence of party chief K. Pawan Kalyan on Friday.
Naveen was suspended from the YSRC during the recent general elections after the party high command reportedly fielded a non-local candidate for both the MLA and MP seats.
In earlier elections, Naveen contested from Hindupur as a Congress and YSRC candidate against film actor and TD leader Nandamuri Balakrishna.
He remained inactive for the past year after his suspension from the YSRC. He later resigned from the party and joined the Jana Sena in the presence of Pawan Kalyan.
