NFL preseason is right around the corner, so it’s time for another annual TV tradition — HBO‘s “Hard Knocks” begins tonight.

In its 25 years on air, “Hard Knocks” has never covered the reigning Super Bowl champions — until now. Documentary cameras will follow the Seattle Seahawks as they open training camp for the 2026 season. The five-episode season will air through Sept. 1 and cameras will continue to roll as preseason begins.

HBO and NFL Films will have an all-access pass to Seahawks training camp in Renton, Washington. The season will feature head coach Mike Macdonald; quarterback Sam Darnold; 2025 NFL Offensive Player of the Year Jaxon Smith-Njigba; and defensive standouts Devon Witherspoon and Byron Murphy II.

As he has since 2008, Liev Schreiber will once again return to narrate “Hard Knocks.”
