Sinitta has shared some rare photos of her only son, Zac Wilner, as she celebrates her ‘brave and curious’ eldest child’s 20th birthday with a heartfelt tribute.
Sinitta, 62, has shared snaps of her rarely seen son as she marks his 20th birthday with an emotional tribute.
Celebrating her son’s 20th trip around the sun, Sinitta shared several images of him, with a range of snaps from his childhood, and some more recent shots taken with his sister at a formal black tie event.
‘Happy Birthday My Beautiful Boy @zac_willner,” penned the So Macho singer. “20 years old does not seem real. You are the gentle giant, affectionate , kind, smart and funny and so so big now!!! I Love being your Mom, you are everything I wanted and I love you so much.
“I want you to have everything good that this world has to offer and that you want. Stay Brave, Stay Curious you are More then Enough, you are Everything… still my baby to me until you are 21 though so “where are you?! Still applies ! kissing monster kisses.”
The 80s singer, 62, adopted Zac, 20, and Magdalena Wilner, 19, in 2007 with her then-husband Andy Wilner who she was married to from 2002 to 2010. The couple made the decision to adopt following four miscarriages and three failed attempts of IVF.
Speaking to OK! in 2025, Sinitta opened up about her struggles with miscarriages, revealing her children gave her a reason to live: “Oh, it was hard to breathe. I wanted to curl up in a ball and shut the world out – so perhaps it’s only natural those thoughts come back to haunt you, later.
“The day I adopted my kids I had a reason to live. It’s not the British way to talk about things. When people asked how I was, I’d say, ‘Oh, I’m fine.’ You’re too scared to say, well, as a matter of fact, I’ve just lost a child – in case people are horrified. Nowadays, it’s different because people are prepared to discuss mental health. They are more understanding that we don’t all live perfect lives.”
She also reflected that her miscarriages led her to adoption: “I do tend to reflect on the sad things that happened in the past. Back then, I just pushed all the painful things to the back of my mind. I think, what would have happened if I had had those children that I lost through miscarriage? I then wouldn’t have had Zac and Magdalena. So, I do think about that because when you go through something like a miscarriage it’s so all-consuming at the time.”
Sinitta first came to fame with her 1986 hit single So Macho, which spent seven weeks in the top 10 charts and reached number two in the UK. She had several chart toppers with Simon Cowell’s record label and was romantically involved with the television personality and record executive for years.
While on the all-star version of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here – which was pre-recorded last September – Sinitta revealed that she and Simon were “on and off” for 40 years.
Sinitta previously claimed things were “never really over” but things changed when Simon welcomed his first child, a son named Eric with Lauren Silverman. Sinitta is now the godmother to their 12-year-old son, whilst Simon is godfather to Sinitta’s children.
