I’m A Celeb champ Angryginge has left fans devastated after revealing he’s made the decision to quit the Boy Boys, but the news has left fans of the YouTube group devastated
Angryginge has left fans devastated after revealing he’s quit the Bov Boys. The online content creator shared the news on social media but praised his friends for the memories they had created.
The online group, formed in 2025 and consisting of Tays, Heinz Baines, Jakey Davies and NYKChazza, has amassed a huge following since joining forces, but many fans have been left reeling by Ginge’s departure.
In a statement shared on the Bov Boys Instagram account, Ginge, 24, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, told fans: “Well hello there, I know this isn’t the news you were expecting; however, it’s the news that is here.

“Before I go any further, I just want to say THANK YOU! Thank you for all the love for the BOV Boys these last 12-18 months. Without you, the memories, support, and love wouldn’t have been the same.”
The streamer added: “The BOV Boys themselves are my brothers for life, and I love them all as one. But in life, you never know where your story ends, and for me and BOV, the story ends here.
“It’s been an amazing time, with memories I will take to my grave, from Benidorm to our first-ever recording in London. Although this is the END for me and BOV, the love and the friendships go on!
“I’ll still be with the boys most days on stream and sharing memories every week as usual. This hasn’t been an easy decision, but the boys will smash it without me and maybe you’ll prefer it LOL (Means laugh if funny).
“I’m wishing them nothing but the best of luck. Thank you for everything, but remember, this isn’t goodbye; it’s a see you later.” The upload, which had been liked almost 138,000 times at the time of publication, was soon flooded with comments from heartbroken fans.
“Why tho?” asked one. A second penned: “First KSI and now this… idk [I don’t know] if I can take it anymore.” While a third went on to write: “I’m sobbing, good luck Ginge.” “Year officially ruined, won’t be the same without you ginge,” commented a fourth.
Heinz later shared snaps of himself and Ginge over their time together, alongside the caption: “RIP AngryGinge13. 2026 GBNF.” Six years on from his first stream, Morgan admits he’s often left pinching himself. Speaking previously to the Mirror, he said: “I believed in myself that I could maybe do content full-time.
“I never thought for one minute I’d go into the jungle or be playing Soccer Aid. I obviously aimed for the Sidemen matches; that was in my sort of content world. But no, I’m still shocked to look back and look at the things I’ve managed to do; it’s still mind-blowing to me. I think it also just shows the power of social media and the power that if you are true to yourself, you can achieve what you want to achieve – there’s no limit.”
There had been speculation that Ginge could leave the Bov Boys last year after appearing on I’m A Celebrity, which he later won. During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Tays and Jakey were asked directly about the possibility.
Anchor Ed Balls asked: “If he wins, is he still going to be a Bov Boy? Or do you think he might decide to leave it behind and go on to bigger things?” Jakey responded: “Oh I really hope not.”
