Obsession fever has taken over India. The uncut, original version of Curry Barker’s film premiered on The Peacock Hub on JioHotstar last week and has audiences talking. As audiences catch the film on the platform, actress Inde Navarrette has shared a heartwarming detail about her brother’s reaction to watching her film, giving fans another reason to talk about Obsession.

In a recent interview, she revealed that her brother, who doesn’t typically go to the movies, wanted to go watch Obsession with her. “He loves me, but he doesn’t necessarily care about a lot of the stuff that I do,” Inde shared. “So whenever he asked, ‘Hey, can we go to the movies and I can bring my friends, and we can all go?’ I was like, ‘What the f*ck is happening right now?'”

Inde shared that he watched the film with her when it was released in the theatre. “It wasn’t like a ‘this is my sister.’ It was to go watch something that I had done, and his friends were also really excited. So I snuck into the theatre, glasses and hood up, and I got to stare at my brother and have him be like, ‘That was really cool. I’m really proud of you.’ I was like, ‘Whoa,'” she shared.

Having grossed over half a billion USD globally, including a phenomenal response in India, the uncut, original version of Obsession is now getting much love as it streams on The Peacock Hub on JioHotstar. The film stars Michael Johnston, Inde Navarrette, Cooper Tomlinson and Megan Lawless, among others.
