Hyderabad: In a joint operation, Telangana EAGLE Force, H‑NEW and Panjagutta police arrested one Custodio Fernandes alias Kristy in Goa, uncovering suspected online drug‑purchasing networks involving credits of ₹48.4 lakh linked to more than 25 individuals in Telangana.
Investigators said Fernandes is connected to drug supply networks between Goa and Hyderabad.
His associates allegedly delivered drugs in Hyderabad, collected cash and deposited it into accounts linked to him.
Sandeep Shandilya, director of EAGLE Force, said scrutiny of financial records revealed substantial ATM deposits.
Investigators are verifying the identities and transactions of 25 individuals suspected of purchasing drugs online.
