The release of the long-awaited Ram Charan sports drama Peddi is around the corner. While the marketing focus is naturally on the star, the leading lady is not visible at any of the events.
We learn that Janhvi has very little to do in the film and when the Peddi team gave her the option of being present at the events or not, she chose the latter, as she didn’t want the audience to get an unjustified impression of her part in the project.
So why did Janhvi agree to be part of Peddi? “They paid her more, much more, than what she gets in Hindi cinema,” reveals an insider. After Peddi she has no films on hand.
