Clarkson’s Farm star Jeremy’s other half Lisa Hogan has landed a massive telly gig – and it’s brilliantly in keeping with viewers’ love of the highs and lows of farming life

Dublin-born Lisa Hogan, 51, a former model and sculptor who has been in a relationship with Clarkson’s Farm star Jeremy since 2017, sharing a home in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, has been unveiled as the host for upcoming ITV reality show, Farming For Love.

The new seven-part dating series, based on the global hit format Farmer Wants A Wife, will follow a group of singleton farmers, as they search for lasting love.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the great British countryside, it will see lonely farmers invite potential partners to live and work alongside them, offering an enticing glimpse at both modern relationships and the sometimes harsh realities of British farming life.

Host Lisa, already well-known to viewers for appearing alongside her other half on Clarkson’s Farm as she manages the Diddly Squat Farm shop, says: “Farming is a way of life that requires resilience, patience, a lot of humour, and the same can be said for relationships.”

She adds, “What I love about Farming for Love is how real it is – there is no hiding or skiving on a farm and that’s what makes it such an honest way for people to get to know each other that has had success around the world. I am really looking forward to leading this flock in their search for romance.”

The series, which will stream on ITVX and broadcast on ITV1, will follow the group of farmers as they prepare to open up their farms and lives in the hope of finding The One.

And guiding them through the rollercoaster experience is Lisa, as she brings her humour, straight-talking honesty and her own experience of farming to the table.

Farming for Love has handpicked four eligible farmers – including one woman, hoping to find a match in the new series.

Dana, 24, from Stirlingshire, is a determined, down-to-earth farmer and part-time wedding dress model, looking for someone who can match her energy and embrace life (and love) in the Scottish countryside.

George, 29, from Wrexham, is an organic livestock farmer and adrenaline junkie overseeing 1,500 acres, whose passion for sustainability shapes everything he does. Now settled into running the family farm, he admits it’s time to find a partner and start a family of his own.

Over in Wiltshire, Guy, 29, is a rugged suckler farmer bringing humour and heart, who jokes that the only girls in his life right now are his beloved cows… but he’s ready to charm a very different kind of female.

On the more mature end is Chris, 68, from Yorkshire, a proud Golden Bachelor who returned to the fields he loves after losing his wife to cancer three years ago. Farming still brings him joy, now he’s hoping to find someone new to share it with.

Lisa and the four farmers will be appearing on This Morning on Tuesday, 21 April at 11.30 to discuss their search for love.

And while she may be playing Cupid on the new show, Lisa, though loved-up with Jeremy, 66, for almost a decade, has said she has no intention of becoming his wife, after his divorce from ex-wife Francis Cain, his second wife, in 2014.

In an interview last year, she revealed she met the journalist and TV presenter, at a party – and he’d always been on her radar.

“I used to let my son stay up to watch Top Gear, but I never really watched it myself. I knew him more from his writing. I always loved his columns,’ she said.”I thought he was bright – and probably amusing. And I think he thought I’d be amusing.”

She also revealed that in their years together, she wasn’t ‘bothered’ that Jeremy hadn’t proposed – revealing that they both seem content with ‘being together 24/7’ anyway, while their children from previous relationships get on well.

Jeremy has three children from his previous marriage – daughters Emily and Katya, and son Finlo – as does she, Elizabeth, Alice and Wolfe.
